INDEPENDENT TESTING AGENCY

The following is a study performed by a independent lab comparing major scratch to 2 other major name brand cd repair kits. It is a word for word copy of the report they gave us.

Summary

At the request of the client, Submitted samples were compared to Maxwell and Curtis CD Scratch Repair Kits

The Major SCratch CD Repair Kit was comapred to Maxwell and Curtis CD ScratchRepair Kit to see if the scratches would be repaired. One CD and one DVD for each of the three products was scratched by 5 back and forth motions across the radius of the CD/DVDs with 600 Grit sandpaper. Each CD/DVD was repaired according to the supplied instructions for each of the three products.

Maxwell

Upon scratching CD/DVDs the samples did not work. after using the kit and repairing the CD/DVD the first time. The CD/DVD only worked slightly, skipping some songs and scenes. After 3 tries, the CD/DVD would work 90% of the time.

Curtis

Upon scratching CD/DVDs the samples did not work. After using the kit and repairing the CD/DVD the first two times, the CD/DVD did not work. The third time only worked on two songs and very slightly on the DVD. It was not until the fifth time of using the repair kit that the CD/DVDs worked approximately 90-95% of the time. The CD/DVDs still skipped during certain portions of the CD/DVDs.

Major Scratch

Upon Scratching CD/DVDs the samples did not work. After using the kit and repairing the CD/DVD the first time, the CD/DVDs worked approximately 95% of the time. After the second repair and cleaning using the kit, the CD/DVDs worked 100% of the time.

Final Overview

After testing the Maxwell and curtis products, the CD/DVDs were cleaned and repaired one time with the Major Scratch Repair Kit. The CD/DVDs then also worked 100% of the time
